Terms of Use

Stradale Garage is a record of the cars you own: their photos, their documents and their live market value, with the option to share your collection publicly. These terms govern your use of the Garage app, garage.stradale.xyz and the services behind them (together, the “service”), operated by Stradale Technology, Inc. (“Stradale”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

Plain English throughout, on purpose. The Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and why; it is part of the deal too.

1What the service is

The Garage lets you catalog vehicles you own, upload photos and ownership paperwork, track an estimated market value for each car, watch other collectors’ garages, appear on a leaderboard, and publish a shareable public page for your collection if you choose to.

The service is a record-keeping and community product. It is not a marketplace, a broker, a bank, an insurer, an appraiser or an escrow service, and nothing in it transfers title to a vehicle.

2Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the service. You sign in with a phone number or email address that you control; keep it current, because it is how you get back in. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it.

One person, one account. We may refuse, reclaim or require a change of usernames that impersonate someone, infringe a trademark or squat a name.

3Your cars, photos and documents

Everything you add stays yours. So that the service can work, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce and display your content: to show your garage to you, to render the public pages and preview cards you choose to share, and to operate features you use, such as extracting a VIN or specification data from a document you upload. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups while those age out and records we must keep by law.

Only upload what you have the right to upload. Photos should be yours or used with permission. Ownership documents must relate to vehicles you own or are authorized to manage.

We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law, and we may decline or revoke verification marks at our discretion.

4Public sharing

Sharing is controlled by you. Your public page, the leaderboard, the Discover feed and share links only show the fields your settings allow, and anonymous mode replaces your name with an alias everywhere other collectors can see you. Once something is public, other people can see it, screenshot it and link to it; turning a field off stops the service showing it but cannot recall copies others already made.

Share links use unguessable identifiers and can be rotated in the app; a rotated link stops working.

5Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • claim to own a vehicle you do not own, or upload forged or altered documents;
  • impersonate any person, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • post other people’s personal information without their permission;
  • scrape, harvest or bulk-download content or data from the service;
  • probe, overload or interfere with the service or its security, or bypass rate limits;
  • use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages;
  • use the service for anything unlawful.

6Valuations are estimates

Market values shown in the Garage are estimates derived from public market data, such as asking prices for comparable cars. They are informational, they can be wrong, they change as the market changes, and they are not an appraisal, an offer, a guarantee of value, or financial, insurance, tax or investment advice. Do not rely on them for any transaction. Get a professional appraisal when money is on the line.

7Ownership proof and verification

You can submit title, registration or insurance documents to have a car marked as verified. Our review is a good-faith check of the paperwork you submit, not a title search or a legal determination of ownership. A verification badge means the paperwork looked right to us; it is not a warranty to you or to anyone else.

8Stradale Collector membership

Some features require a paid Stradale Collector membership. On iOS and Android the subscription is purchased through the app store, billed by Apple or Google under their terms, and managed or canceled in your store account settings; store refund rules apply. On the web, membership may be unlocked with an invite code. Prices and included features can change; changes apply from your next billing period, never retroactively.

9Third-party services

Optional integrations, such as importing photos from Instagram, are governed by the third party’s own terms and only run when you connect them. Market data comes from third-party listing sources; we do not control it and do not warrant its accuracy.

If you install the app from Apple’s App Store, Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app.

10Our property

The service, its software, design and branding belong to Stradale Technology, Inc. and its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

11Ending the relationship

You can stop using the service at any time and can request deletion of your account and its data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, create risk for other members or for us, or that the law requires us to act on. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do, including licenses needed to complete deletions, disclaimers, liability limits and the dispute terms.

12Disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that valuations are accurate, that verification catches fraud, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some places do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stradale is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars and the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14Disputes, arbitration and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, contact us and give us 30 days to work it out informally.

Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and Stradale each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these terms.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we will update the date at the top and ask you to accept again in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
